FLY Racing Starts off 2025 Strong!

Mar 17th 2025

2025 is a year of shared 'firsts' with the #FLYFam! We're breaking new ground together and in the past three months, we've sparked a wave of excitement with moves that have resonated throughout the industry!

Red Bull KTM DeCarli MXGP

In one of the biggest splashes of the off-season, news broke that FLY Racing and Red Bull KTM DeCarli inked a long-term partnership. Brothers Lucas and Sacha Coenen are flanked by Simon Laengenfelder as they represent FLY Racing around the globe. They got off to a red hot start, too,  as Sacha Coenen and Laengenfelder battled the wild weather in Argentina to secure a double podium in the MX2 class. Lucas Coenen's day was miraculous that it even occurred as he overcame two arm injuries to somehow finish 6th overall.

Cooper Webb’s Winning Ways

The acquisition of 5-time Supercross and Motocross Champion Cooper Webb has proven to be a pivotal shift for the #FLYFam. Webb's 2025 season has been nothing short of spectacular, with 7 podium finishes in 9 rounds. That run included back-to-back wins in Detroit and Arlington and a first ever win in Indianapolis. After the only off-weekend of the Monster Energy Supercross season, Webb holds the coveted red plate, signifying his 15-point lead as the series looks towards Birmingham.

RJ Wins Daytona

RJ Hampshire's journey to the top step of the podium at Daytona Supercross was nothing short of remarkable. A late surgery forced a switch to the East Coast division instead of flaunting his #1 plate in the West, as well as coming in less prepared than he would like. A tough opener was erased at Daytona, though, clinching his first win of the season and his first-ever Daytona victory. The notoriously challenging Daytona track tested all, but Hampshire’s notorious grit shined through, solidifying his place in Daytona history.

SLR/JRC Honda Dominates

They are now preparing to take on the San Felipe 250 next month. Not to be outdone, JCR Honda faced the legendary Mint 400, a race known for its punishing terrain and intense competition, and emerged victorious, successfully defending their 2024 title.
